2026 BENEFICIARIES

This year, your participation will directly support:

• KINGSTON PUBLIC HOSPITAL (KPH) – KINGSTON

  Jamaica’s largest public hospital and a cornerstone of the national healthcare system, Kingston Public Hospital provides essential emergency, trauma, and specialist services to thousands of Jamaicans annually.

  Through SHINE 5K 2026, funds will support the procurement of critical medical equipment aimed at strengthening clinical capacity, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing the hospital’s ability to respond to growing service demands.

• FALMOUTH HOSPITAL – TRELAWNY

  Serving as a vital healthcare hub for Western Jamaica, Falmouth Hospital plays an essential role in delivering primary and emergency care to residents across Trelawny and neighbouring parishes.

  Investment from SHINE 5K 2026 will contribute to targeted equipment upgrades and operational enhancements designed to improve service delivery, strengthen resilience, and expand access to quality care within the western region.

• PROJECT STAR

  Supporting at-risk youth through health education and preventative care programmes across Jamaica.

  Project STAR (Social Transformation and Renewal) takes an innovative approach to youth health across Jamaica, focusing on preventative care and health education for at-risk youth ages 12-25. With rising rates of chronic diseases affecting younger Jamaicans, their programmes reach over 5,000 young people annually through schools and community outreach.

  Your participation in SHINE will expand Project STAR’s reach to additional communities, particularly in underserved rural areas. Funds support mobile health clinics, educational materials, and essential screening programs that can change health outcomes for an entire generation.
