Is SHINE the same as the “Keep It Alive” 5K Night Run?

Yes! SHINE (Securing Hope for those In Need) is the new name for our beloved “Keep It Alive” 5K Night Run. Same great philosophy of contributing to community development, same exciting night run experience, but with a wider scope and a bright new identity!

Who can participate?

Everyone! The event welcomes runners, walkers, and corporate teams. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Absolutely! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a casual walker, our course is designed to accommodate all fitness levels and abilities.

Can children participate?

Yes! SHINE is a family-friendly event. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

How are the funds distributed?

100% of proceeds from registrations and donations go directly to our named beneficiaries. Guardian Group covers all administrative costs of organizing the event.

How do I register as an individual (for Individual, Group/Corporate Teams)?

1. Click on the REGISTER NOW on the SHINE 5K page which takes you to the Running events page
2. Select the race you would like to register for whether ‘Individual’ , ‘Group’ or Corporate Teams’
3. Follow the instructions to enter your information and make payment
